EastEnders confirms tragic outcome as legend’s fate is ‘sealed’ in 62 pictures
EastEnders lines up one of its most dramatic weeks to date, with the aftermath of a murder and the long-awaited trial of a violent murderer on the cards, as confirmed in Metro’s latest picture gallery.
The residents of Walford are left reeling following the discovery of Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) corpse, which was recovered after the floor in the cafe caved in.
With fingers pointed and speculation aplenty, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) found herself in police custody, arrested for the suspected murder of her former fiancé.
Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff), who knows all about The Six and their actions at Christmas time, wastes little time in making his way down to the station to represent Sharon, but the two struggle to keep their story straight when being quizzed by the authorities.
And speaking of stories straight, back on the Square the other five women gather to discuss their next move before they’re all summoned to the police station to be re-questioned about what happened at Christmas.
Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), meanwhile, have a shocking plan up their sleeve, which leaves Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) utterly reeling.
Johnny promises to sort the situation for his mum, vowing to get Sharon released from captivity but Linda seemingly has other ideas, as she once again summons her fellow matriarchs to The Vic.
But just what does she have in mind?
Elsewhere on the Square, the day of Eddie Knight’s (Christopher Fairbanks) trial approaches and George (Colin Salmon) receives a huge shock as Gloria (Elizabeth Counsell) not only gives the CPS information about Eddie but also encourages George to testify in the trial!
George takes Gloria’s advice and testifies and, during the trial, Gloria shouts out, much to the disdain of Eddie. Under the stress of the situation, Gloria collapses, suffering a heart attack
But will she be okay?
It’s going to be a week to remember, so don’t miss a second of all the drama!
