EastEnders Mick Carter’s return ‘sealed’ as theory proves he ‘survived’ cliff plunge
Danny Dyer's legendary EastEnders character Mick Carter was supposedly killed off in 2022 after leaping off a cliff to save Janine and Linda from the sinking car
EastEnders fans were left devastated in December 2022 when Mick Carter seemingly plunged to his death – but now there’s a huge clue that could ‘prove’ he’s still alive.
Mick leaped off a cliff into the ocean to save Linda and Janine from a sinking car. After dragging Janine to safety, it looked like Mick would survive – but soon after he waded back into the ocean to retrieve Linda, unaware she’d already swam safely to shore herself.
Viewers didn’t see Mick emerge from the ocean, and later Linda was handed his death certificate. But his body was never found, and fans are sure it means Danny Dyer’s character has survived. And according to Google’s AI tool Gemini, it’s entirely possible Mick could have survived.
Daily Star asked the artificial intelligence tool just how Mick might have survived, and Gemini told us: “Although unlikely, the writers could have shown Mick resurfacing unconscious and being swept away by the current. He might then be discovered and rescued by a passing boat or coastguard.
