Loyal viewers of the BBC One soap will recall how the shopkeeper was assaulted by Pastor Clayton (Howard Saddler) in a devastating attack which aired in April. More recently, the soap star opened up about the horrifying incident with her husband Patrick (Rudolph Walker).
Thankfully, the pair reported the crime to the police and is currently in the process of pressing charges on the pastor. After watching the heartbreaking scenes unfold on the show, many victims have been inspired to take action for themselves.
