Kat hides Tommy’s sinister nature after explosive EastEnders showdown
There’s troubling times ahead for Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) in EastEnders next week when he turns on mum Kat (Jessie Wallace).
In recent weeks we’ve seen the teen struggle to deal with former step-dad Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) rejection, and be caught by Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) stealing chocolate from the Minute Mart.
Unfortunately, in upcoming scenes, his behaviour is set to worsen.
Kat and Alfie (Shane Richie), who Tommy has always considered as his dad, try their hardest to discipline him when they learn he’s been bunking off school.
Tracking him down to the Boxing Den, Alfie is shocked to find him sparring in the ring with Phil rather than starting his summer job at the Laundrette.
Later, Tommy has a run in with Harvey (Ross Boatman), who is seen giving Maya (Bharti Patel) some cash. As viewers of the BBC One soap know, Maya’s husband was injured in a far right attack by Havey’s son Aaron.
After heading to an address, he discovered her shaken and fearful husband Abdul, and the truth was soon outed.
He’s yet to come clean to girlfriend Jean (Gillian Wright) about the truth, and Tommy instantly thinks he’s cheating.

Kat orders Tommy to go home, only for a further argument to break out. Repulsed at his attitude and reluctancy to apologise, she cancels their upcoming holiday.
Embarrassed by the whole situation, she remains tight-lipped when Alfie tries to speak with her about it and he leaves to entertain the twins.
Will she come clean about Tommy’s behaviour?
