Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) becomes her own worst enemy and lands herself in hot water at work in EastEnders next week!

The troubles come just weeks on from the realisation that she put close family friend Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) in a difficult position, coming face to face with her abuser Pastor Clayton (Howard Saddler) at her son Jordan’s baptism.

With Yolande storming out of the ceremony after he placed his hand on her waist, she eventually opened up about her ordeal and an apologetic Chelsea was left reeling.

In upcoming scenes, her own life is set to come crashing down when she loses her coveted position as Peggy’s bar manager.

It all kicks off when Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) comes to blows with Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) when his teen daughter Avani (Aaliyah James) steals a top from her market stall.

Later, in The Queen Vic, she vents to Chelsea about her work prospects and, after hearing about her previous promotional jobs, invites her to run a night at the bar.

As the week progresses, Peggy’s owner Phil (Steve McFadden) catches Chelsea drinking on the job… and Penny decides to seize the day and steal her job!

Ouch.

Devastated by her so-called friend’s actions, she pleads with Phil to give her the position back.

But will he be forgiving?

Penny herself has some making up to do with cousin Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa). Earlier this week she admitted to letting debt collectors into their flat because one of them was attractive.

As Lauren and boyfriend Peter (Thomas Law) rushed over, they were seizing goods as a result of money owed for a laptop she purchased over a year ago.

Peter agreed to pay the fines, coughing up a whopping £450 in the process!
