EastEnders confirms murder twist as Reiss goes too far in 39 pictures

The residents of Walford face a week of dilemmas, with EastEnders’ finest left contemplating the future while others take drastic action in order to solve some tricky predicaments, as confirmed in my new pictures.

Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is on tenterhooks as the day of Dean Wicks’ (Matt Di Angelo) plea hearing arrives.

The landlady, as viewers know, played a pivotal role in framing Dean for the murder of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters), who died on Christmas Day last year when she stabbed him to save Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).

Linda, Sharon and four more of the Square’s most iconic matriarchs covered up the crime, with Dean – who never received a punishment for raping Linda a decade ago – framed for the crime.

Believing Dean is to blame for her brother’s demise, Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) proceeds to quiz Linda, who evades such questioning.

Worried Linda could prove a liability and crack under the pressure, Sharon has a heart-to-heart with her mate.

But as their role in Keanu’s death is discussed once more, will Linda manage to stay away from the booze on such a big week for The Six? Or is it only a matter of time before their big secret is revealed?

Elsewhere, Reiss Colwell’s (Jonny Freeman) money troubles persist when Debbie’s care home confirms that he still owes them a lot of cash.

He prepares to tell Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) the truth but a spot of good news leads to him changing his mind. In a bid to get his hands on some cash, he tells Sharon that a VAT bill still stands and she needs to pay up.
