EastEnders Spoilers: Teddy Mitchell is Up to Something
Teddy Mitchell has been a bit of an enigma since his arrival in Albert Square, but it’s clear he’s been sizing up the locals and his newfound Mitchell family. When his cousin Phil Mitchell loses his cool with Reese Cwell over the money he stole from him and business partner Sharon Watts, Teddy steps in to calm the situation. As Sonia Jackson pleads with Sharon to persuade Phil for more time to repay the debt, Teddy begins plotting.
Teddy approaches Phil with a surprising offer—to buy the debt and handle Reese’s repayment plan himself. When Reese learns the news, he’s filled with relief at being off the hook with a furious Phil. But the big question remains: will Teddy turn out to be a chip off the old Mitchell block, with bigger plans for Reese than he’s letting on?
Meanwhile, Junior Knight stays cool after Gina discovers he’s seeing someone—unaware that it’s her mother, Cindy Beale. Determined to find out who it is, Gina breaks into Junior’s phone, but Cindy catches her in the act and warns Junior about it. Cindy is furious when Junior misses a secret meeting, only to find him later at the Vic with Maxine, whom he introduces as his new girlfriend. Junior insists it’s just a distraction to throw off his family.
In another twist, Harvey Monroe secretly assists Maah Huson after her husband is injured by Harvey’s son, Aaron. This hidden support puts a strain on his relationship with Jean Slater, who is growing increasingly frustrated by his constant work.
Lastly, Kathy Beale returns from the US, but without Ian, who stays behind to support Ben Mitchell, who is imprisoned.
