A SHOCK EastEnders wedding is set to rock Albert Square this autumn in a dramatic storyline.
New filming pictures show the Queen Vic decked out in gold finery for a huge wedding event.
The iconic pub is decked out with a red carpet, gold drapes, a golden balloon arch and even a horse drawn carriage.
Bosses are staying tight-lipped on who could be walking down the aisle but there are three engaged couples in Walford at the moment.
Reiss Colwell proposed to pregnant girlfriend Sonia Fowler with his murdered wife’s ring earlier this summer.
However with Sonia currently in prison awaiting trial for the murder that Reiss actually committed, it seems unlikely they would be the ones to tie the knot.
Another couple engaged – fan favourites Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin – would be a much more likely match.
They have survived Suki’s controlling killer ex-husband Nish’s attempts to split them up and cause chaos in their relationship, becoming more stable than ever.
And assuming she makes it to the autumn, which is what the soap will currently be filming now, and through The Six murder trial, Suki could tie the knot.
Will they walk down the aisle? Or could it be the final engaged couple – and most likely to walk down the aisle at the Vic – landlady Elaine Peacock.
Elaine is engaged to cheating partner George Knight despite his brief dalliance with ex Cindy Beale.
And she’s known to be over the top in her decorating style – so her wedding would be over the top and as out there as the pictures show.
The couple were recently rocked by the arrival of George’s brothers – one of whom, Kojo, decided to stay in Walford with George taking him in.
However he had an outburst that left Elaine concerned about his behaviour.
She clashed with George over it but will the pair be able to put it all behind them for a dramatic autumn wedding?
As well as the wedding, the pictures have also revealed another intriguing storyline spoiler.
In the pictures the Minute Mart appears to be boarded up with graffiti across the hoardings.
The business is owned by Suki and her ex Nish.
Viewers know Nish is suffering from a heart condition that has given him less than a year to live – so could he have died and destroyed the business before?
Or is there another reason for the shop’s closure?
