EastEnders confirms ‘most vile villain’ has left the BBC show as star films final scene
EastEnders confirmed on Thursday that one cast member has left the long-running show - but the BBC soap executive producer Chris Clenshaw didn't rule out a return in the future.
EastEnders has confirmed Matt Di Angelo has left the BBC One soap after filming his final scene as villain Dean Wicks.
However, the show’s boss Chris Clenshaw has teased that viewers may not have seen the last of Dean as he didn’t rule out a return in the future.
In this week’s episodes of the BBC soap, Dean has been at the centre of a gripping court trial as he is accused of murdering Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) on Christmas Day 2023.
But the character is innocent of the crime, having been framed for murder in a revenge plot for raping Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) 10 years ago.
