Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) opened up to sister Anna (Molly Rainford) in recent EastEnders scenes in a bid to help her through a difficult decision.
Anna was recently shocked to discover that she is pregnant with boyfriend Bobby Beale’s (Clay Milner Russell) baby, and today’s episode saw her make a decision over her future.
During a discussion with Gina, Anna admitted that she didn’t want to have this baby, and Gina was quick to support her, pointing out that she had plenty of options.
When Anna explained that she didn’t want to be pregnant, Gina informed her that she had plenty of time to have an abortion, explaining that 24 weeks is the legal limit in the UK.
She then explained that it was only 14 weeks in Spain, and it was clear that Anna wanted to know how she knew.
Gina was quick to reveal that she had fallen pregnant with ex-boyfriend Antonio’s baby, and that she too had had an abortion, which she assured Anna was the right decision for her at the time.
With her decision made, Anna worried what would happen if Bobby worked out that she was pregnant, having insisted to Gina that she didn’t want him to know.
However, when Bobby later came over with Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier), he was none the wiser. Although, it didn’t take Freddie long to make a discovery.
Wanting to order some food, Freddie opened Anna’s laptop, which she was quick to object to.
Later, Freddie admitted that he had seen the search for abortion clinics, and Anna was forced to reveal her current situation.
Freddie urged her to open up to Bobby, but Anna was insistent that she didn’t want him to find out.
She explained that she had an appointment at the clinic the following day, and begged Freddie not to say anything to his best friend.
Will Freddie keep Anna’s secret, or is Bobby set to find out the truth?
