EastEnders killer Reiss Colwell’s exit ‘sealed’ as unlikely Mitchell takes action in surprise twist
Reiss Colwell has been hiding a huge secret for weeks after killing his wife Debbie but an innocent offer from a Mitchell to help Sonia Fowler get out of prison could expose the truth
EastEnders newcomer Teddy Mitchell is set to uncover the truth about Debbie Colwell’s murder in a huge twist.
Pregnant Sonia Fowler (played by Natalie Cassidy) was recently sent to prison on remand after being wrongly accused of killing her partner Reiss’ comatose wife Debbie (Jenny Meier), who was in a care home after suffering from a stroke.
But her true killer is Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) who smothered his wife with a pillow to ease the financial burden of her care needs.
As his money trouble spiralled, Reiss is trying to get himself out of debt after scamming Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace), so has reluctantly agreed to work for Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian).
But during Tuesday’s episode of the BBC soap (September 17), Teddy requested that accountant Reiss fiddle with his books to make it look like he is ‘skint’.
