It’s an explosive Mitchell-centric week on EastEnders as three new family members enter the fold.

It’s never a dull moment around this clan, who find themselves reeling after the fundraising money from Lola’s charity night goes missing.

Billy (Perry Fenwick) points the finger at his estranged dad Stevie (Alan Ford), and with the rest of the Mitchells convinced that he is to blame, he makes it his mission to track down the real thief.

Convinced that his grandson Will (Freddie Phillips) is behind the incident, he begins to probe him in the cafe but is quickly thrown off the scent. Later, Will tries to defend Stevie in the pub and storms off when Phil (Steve McFadden) refuses to listen.

Stevie is adamant for Will to come clean and loses his temper when he refuses – and in a moment of madness, he is knocked unconscious to the floor. Before long, Will makes a quick escape and is spotted by Phil who calls an ambulance.

Luckily, on arrival at the hospital, the family are told that he will be okay.

Under the weight of the circumstances, the youngster confesses everything to Phil, who in turn is adamant to find Kyle, the boy blackmailing him.

But it seems that this could be the least of their worries, as three new faces arrive in Albert Square – Teddy (Roland Manookian), Billy’s secret brother, and his sons Harry (Elijah Holloway) and Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman).

Whilst Will is apologising to Stevie, Teddy arrives and he’s ushered out to keep the secret. Stevie lies about where he’s been and doesn’t tell Teddy of Will’s true identity, but it’s clearly enough to raise an eyebrow and he follows him back to Walford.

Elsewhere, Harry does some digging of his own and soon ends up flirting with Penny (Kitty Castledine), and Barney meets Avani (Aaliyah James), who fills him in the locals.

Later in the week, Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) texts Billy to inform him that his son is in the bar with a strange man, and as everyone rushes over, a fight is about to kick off. Stevie quickly reveals the man is Teddy, his son.

On the upcoming storyline, Roland told us: ‘Billy and Phil are there protect the youngest member of their clan. They find out there’s a mysterious man with their boy, so their motive is to find out exactly what is going on.

‘Teddy is a little bit shocked by the impact, and the thought of what’s about to go down, but he does remain calm in the situation to get to the bottom of it. All I can say is there’s going to be some fireworks.’

We imagine this is going to be one hell of a doof doof!

With accusations flying around and everyone worked up over the revelation, Billy asserts that Stevie has a lot of explaining to do. Elsewhere, Phil has a war of his own when he comes face to face with Teddy.

‘It’s two bulls locking horns with those characters, and quite differently because I think they’re at different ends of the spectrum of alpha males’ Roland added.

‘Phil has a more aggressive approach, and a physical presence, whereas Teddy is as fierce and as dangerous as someone like Phil, but his strategies are just a little bit more diplomatic because he’s trying to get the best outcome for himself.’

Ahhh, happy families…
