EastEnders aired a double exit for Eddie Knight and Gloria Knight tonight after the revelations of what happened to George's real father, who was murdered by Eddie and his friends
EastEnders aired a double exit tonight as the Knights struggled following the murder revelation.
The BBC soap aired a huge episode last night, where fans learned the truth of what happened to George Knight’s biological father. Over the past few days, it had transpired that Eddie was being friendly with his son because he needs a character witness in court as he’s up for a murder charge for the racially motivated murder of a man called Henry Kofi Asare.
Last night, after a conversation between George and Eddie, it transpired that Henry was actually George’s biological father and Eddie and his friends had killed him after Gloria asked for them to do whatever to keep George with them.

Tonight, the truth was revealed about who the man was and his connection to the Knights. As Elaine and Gloria went upstairs to chat, George and Eddie had no idea that Gina and Anna were listening on the stairs.
Speaking about what happened to Henry Kofi Asare, George quizzed him on who the man was and what happened to him, after revealing Henry had been killed and stuffed in a suitcase, before being thrown in a canal. When George pressed what the police had on him given that they were taking it to trial, George insisted he never had heard of him.
“Are you sure you don’t recognise him? Go on, have a proper look,” George pressed, before adding: “Well either you had your eyes closed that night or you’re getting forgetful in your old age because I do. I recognise him, because I was there.”
Unbeknownst to Eddie, it was confirmed tonight that George saw all that had happened and what they had been saying to the man and was scarred by what he’d seen, only for George to now learn that Henry was his dad.
George continued to struggle tonight with all that had come to light over the last few days, and whilst Gloria came by to try and plead with George to talk to her again, he was adamant their relationship was over and sent her away.
Heartbroken, George is clearly struggling after learning the truth and tonight’s episode also saw him take his anger out on Denzel during boxing training, where he pushed the young resident too far before Elaine stopped him.
