BBC EastEnders fans rumble Nish Panesar’s real plan for Suki as lies ‘exposed’
EastEnders aired the biggest 'doof doof' tonight as Nish Panesar revealed he was dying - but is he telling the truth, or does he have a master plan for his ex Suki Panesar
EastEnders aired a huge return for Nish Panesar tonight – as he dropped the bombshell he is dying.
On tonight’s episode of the BBC soap, Nish made an unwelcome return to Albert Square, a few weeks after he had been kicked out of the family home for what he had done to Suki over the weeks and years.
As he made his return to Walford, he let himself into the house with his spare key and when Ravi threatened to throw him out, he announced to his shocked family that he was dying and it was only a matter of time before he was out of their lives for good.
However, fans are convinced they’ve rumbled that Nish is actually keeping something from the family. Some are rightly suspicious on whether he is telling the truth about his illness and took to social media to share their thoughts.

“Let me guess, Nish is dying in the same way that Angie only had six months to live and Suki had cancer,” one wrote, whilst another replied: “I’m leaning towards him actually telling the truth, but with a revenge plan in mind and not the redemption he’s claiming. It would be colossally stupid for Vinny and Suki herself not to demand solid proof…
The only real option I see for him faking it with “proof” is if Nina or some random dodgy doctor (friend of Roger Peele’s, maybe?) is helping him. Or I guess they can simply have the entire family be stupid and take his word for it.”
A third added: “Does Nish genuinely expect his family to what? Forgive & forget, welcoming him back with open arms? Definitely up to something. Had months to plot his revenge #Eastenders,” whilst a fourth wrote: “I have a feeling he’s lying to get back in his family’s good books. #EastEnders.” A fifth added: “Nish is 100% lying!! #EastEnders.”
Back in February, Nish actor Navin Chowdry teased more to come in his character’s huge storyline. He told us: “I am alive, I believe so. I had text messages on my phone [during the Christmas episode] going, ‘oh no’ and then two minutes later ‘oh…’. I think despite the whole nation being gutted that I’m still alive, I feel okay about it for now.”
On whether we could see Nish taking revenge or opt for a redemption arc, he went on: “There’s either redemption or revenge so let’s see what happens, there can only be one,” before warning there was “unfinished business” with the Panesars.
