BBC EastEnders fans rumble who will expose Lauren Branning and Zack Hudson’s affair

Preparing to become a mother for the first time, Whitney Dean is on the brink of heartbreak as adoptive daughter Britney could expose Zack Hudson’s affair with Lauren Branning.

The EastEnders hunk portrayed by James Farrar has bent over backwards for Whitney as the couple navigated devastating obstacles last year, from his HIV diagnosis to the death of their daughter Peach.

But while they seemed indestructible and happier than ever after Whit learned she was pregnant again, the arrival of wayward teen Britney in their lives has sparked tension between the pair.

While Whitney is determined to be a parent for Britney, Zack has been more reluctant and only recently became aware that his partner had bought the teen from her negligent mother Keeley.

Unable to cope with the truth and fuming to learn Whitney would have even kept it from him in the first place, Zack drowned his sorrows, before her pal Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) came to join him at Peggy’s. One thing led to another and, after initially rejecting him, Lauren kissed Zack.

Since then, the pair have tried to move past the situation but Whitney’s adoptive mother Bianca Jackson (Pasty Palmer) was adamant on revealing the truth after Zack mistakenly confessed everything to her.

But one theory has recently emerged on social media and one viewer has suggested that Britney (Lola Campbell) could be the one to expose Zack and Whitney. “Britney really loves putting her foot in it doesn’t she. First she tells Zack about Whitney illegally taking her Now she’s told Whitney about the stolen items. Wouldn’t be surprised if she exposed Zack and Lauren’s deceit eventually”, they penned.

The soap fan then doubled down: “Zack & Lauren need to be careful as I think Britney will be the one to expose their kiss to Whitney. Nothing stays a secret on that Square and Britney has accidentally landed people in it a few times before. I wonder if she acted that way in Milton Keynes?”

This prompted another TV watcher to speculate, as actress Shona McGarty’s exit from the long-running show looms on the horizon: “I wonder if Whitney and Britney decide to leave elsewhere for with the new baby and are last seen getting on a bus.”

While the affair remains under wraps this week, soap bosses have confirmed that Britney will be spilling the beans to Whitney next week, as she gets ready to walk down the aisle with Zack in true soap fashion – but will she be believed?

Shona, as mentioned, will be leaving the London-based program in upcoming scenes and viewers have been desperate to see her get a happy ending after fifteen long years of drama and action-packed storylines. Could they be disappointed?
