EastEnders villan Nish Panesar has a long list of enemies in Walford and his refusal to accept the events of Christmas Day may lead to a huge murder mystery storyline

EastEnders' Nish Panesar

Nish Panesar may find himself at the centre of a huge whodunnit mystery.

The businessman is no stranger to making enemies and is despised by ex-wife Suki Panesar after years of emotional abuse as well as trying to kill her lover Eve Unwin. In recent scenes, Nish revealed to Priya that he only sparked up a romance with Kat Slater because she was a “beneficial” figure.

Nish was one of the contenders for The Six’s murder victim and was almost killed at Christmas when he tried to force Suki to return home with him after she announced her plans to divorce him. Although the businessman has made a full recovery, EastEnders fans suspect it won’t be long before he finds himself in grave danger once again.

One viewer wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Ok I’m so over Nish the six gotta get there act together and get rid of this man NOW I liked him for a hot second but yh no saving that man #Eastenders,” while another said: “No bc nish is carrying Eastenders ??? I’m scared this means he’ll get killed off on next year’s anniversary episode but who knows.” (sic)

They said: “Manifesting that a “Who Killed Nish” storyline will be announced on the 39th anniversary and then the killer will be revealed on the 40th anniversary.” If Nish was attacked, Walford wouldn’t be short of a list of murder suspects.

Suki and Eve, understandably, hate Nish while his son Ravi Gulati turned against him after being blackmailed into killing Eve. Ravi changed his mind and set Eve free but Nish was furious with his son for disobeying his orders. Meanwhile, The Six continue to be on edge over Nish’s persistent questioning about the night of his attack in The Vic.

Next week, Nish’s plan to manipulate Kat continues as he seeks Priya’s advice, who tells him her children are the way to her heart. Nish invites Kat and her kids to dinner as she watches on amused while they run riot. But, as they try to enjoy the meal, the businessman issues a shock invitation, leaving Kat wondering whether she
