BBC EastEnders George Knight’s death ‘sealed’ as fans rumble heartbreaking exit

EastEnders fans have been left concerned over George Knight and fear his death is 'sealed' on the BBC soap after his shock medical diagnosis

Fears have grown for George Knight on EastEnders – with viewers convinced a heartbreaking exit is looming.

George arrived in Walford alongside his family, daughters Anna and Gina, and partner Elaine, who is the mother of Linda Carter. The group settled themselves into the Queen Vic, but soon a secret tie with Walford – that even they were unaware of – was exposed.

It was revealed that Cindy Beale is very much alive but has been in witness protection under the alias Rose Knight, where she met and got together with George, before having two children with him – Gina and Anna.

Now there are real fears George Knight could be leaving Walford in a sad and heartbreaking exit for acting legend Colin Salmon. Tonight, George was given a CAT scan confirming he could die if he received a blow to the head.

Taking to social media, one fan wrote: “George has truly been through it these past several months #eastenders,” whilst a second added: “Aww George. That’s horrible news #EastEnders.” A third said: “Sorry but George had one episode of slight dizziness, you don’t send someone for a scan for one episode of dizziness! I know, I was an A&E nurse! #EastEnders.”

With George agreeing to another fight, could this spell a shock exit for the Walford legend?

In a surprise turn of events, George Knight’s son Junior Knight will be joining the BBC soap. Speaking about Junior’s arrival, Chris Clenshaw, Executive Producer, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Micah Balfour to the cast of EastEnders as he takes on the role of Junior Knight. Although Junior has been referenced since The Knights arrived in the Square, the audience knows very little about George’s son and the circumstances behind their estrangement.

“Junior arrives in Walford following an unlikely meet with his dad and is quickly thrust into the heart of the drama. However, it will soon become apparent to viewers that there is more to Junior than meets the eye.”

Micah added of his new role: “I’m thrilled to be joining the cast of EastEnders as part of the Knight family. I grew up watching the show and many of the characters have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, so walking onto the Square for the first time was the most surreal experience of my career! It’s a privilege to work with Colin Salmon, who I’ve watched with admiration for many years, and Francesca Henry and Molly Rainford, who are dynamite on screen, as well as the amazing Harriet Thorpe and Kellie Bright. Junior is an exciting character to play as he’s a complex man, and he’s going to cause a bit of a stir!”
