BBC EastEnders’ Jack Branning ‘to be framed’ for Keanu murder as dramatic exit ‘sealed’
EastEnders viewers are speculating Jack Branning could find himself framed by The Six, after he makes a big discovery next week on the BBC soap
EastEnders’ Jack Branning could end up leaving the BBC soap in a twist, with fans predicting a major set-up.
The character could be framed for the murder of Keanu Taylor, as his body is found next week on the show. With Jack coming across the scene where his body had been buried for months, it seems he could finally find out what his wife Denise Fox and fling Stacey Slater are caught up in.
Viewers know that Linda Carter murdered Keanu on Christmas Day with a meat thermometer, after he tried to strangle Sharon Watts. The murder was witnessed by Denise and Stacey as well as Kathy Beale and Suki Panesar. They orchestrated a story of how Keanu was on the run after attacking Nish Panesar, when actually they’d buried him under the floor of the café.
Jack recently found out what had led to Denise’s breakdown, after she suffered psychosis. He found out she had attacked Nish and all the women had lied about Keanu being the attacker.
Jack pushed for answers on the cover-up story and where Keanu was, but Denise forced him to leave things and move past it. Amid their marriage breaking down over his affair, new scenes will see him walk in on an incriminating moment.

The floor of the café caves in, leaving those caught up in the murder horrified and fearing they will be rumbled. Denise prepares to flee for good, given her necklace remains next to the body after it fell in during the burial.
Desperate to stop her from leaving, Stacey agrees to help Denise retrieve the necklace before anyone learns the truth about the body. But as they break into the café, they are caught by Jack who demands answers from them.
Will they be forced to reveal what they are doing, and might he end up realising what is hidden beneath the floor? Viewers think it could lead to the women pinning the murder on Jack to get him out of the way.
After all, Denise wants to end her marriage after his betrayal and Stacey has also been left out in the cold. Jack also left Suki in danger of her husband Nish Panesar, by helping him be freed from police custody by revealing Eve Unwin was still alive.
So could Jack be blamed for Keanu’s death? One fan posted on X: “I’ve been convinced since Christmas that they’ll frame Jack instead.” Another agreed: “Jack or Dean going down for Keanu I think,” as a third said: “hope the six frame someone because I can’t see any of them go down actually lol.”
