BBC EastEnders’ Keanu Taylor’s murder finally exposed as body found amid soap legend’s return

EastEnders airs the big moment Keanu Taylor’s body is found next week, months on from his murder at the hands of Linda Carter.

Viewers know that on Christmas Day, Keanu was stabbed to death with a meat thermometer by Linda who was trying to protect Sharon Watts, as Keanu began strangling her. The Six, including Sharon, Linda, Suki Panesar, Stacey Slater, Kathy Beale and Denise Fox, then covered up the crime and their parts in it.

Keanu’s corpse was buried under the floor of the café, while the women told the police that Keanu had fled and was on the run after attacking Nish Panesar. This lie and his true fate look set to come to light in the coming weeks though, as a corpse is found at the café when the floor caves in.

Just as Jack Branning looks set to find out the horrifying truth after walking in on something incriminating, a soap legend makes her return – leading to chaos. Sharon is finally back on the show months after fleeing to Australia in the wake of Keanu’s demise.

But just as her return causes carnage amid the murder weapon being missing, there’s a gruesome discovery that changes everything and the women face being caught. Spoilers reveal that the floor caves in, and the women know it could be game over.

As Denise decides to flee Walford, Stacey agrees to help retrieve the missing necklace belonging to her that fell into Keanu’s grave when they were burying him. Fans know this has caused Denise great stress, after her famous ‘D’ necklace fell into the grave, with her knowing that if the body was ever found, evidence would point to her being the killer.

So Stacey decides to use the moment to help Denise after she was exposed for having an affair with Denise’s husband Jack. But the pair are stopped in their tracks, as Jack catches them in the act and demands answers – so will he find out the truth and discover the body?

Spoilers remain quiet on what happens after this, but soon enough a body is discovered. Walford is rife with gossip as the residents speculate about the body found in the café, but will one or any of the women admit their guilt?

The police soon come snooping, no doubt questioning the true events of Christmas Day as they work to identify the body found. It seems Walford residents are told it is Keanu who has died too, as the police arrive at No.43 to inform Sharon about her missing partner, while pictures show his sister Bernie crying.

As they re-question Sharon on the events of Christmas, the day Keanu was last seen alive, The Six worry about their freedom, before Suki intercepts Kathy with a new plan. What is she up to, and will the women stick together or will someone get the blame?
