BBC EastEnders reveals who has Christmas murder weapon as Keanu’s death finally exposed

EastEnders have shared who has the ‘missing’ meat thermometer that Linda killed Keanu with at Christmas.

Tonight, The Six reunited as Sharon Watts made her return from Australia, where she had been with her son Albie. She had run away from the Square after Keanu’s shocking Christmas death, when he was murdered by Linda Carter.

Whilst the other five have remained in Walford and have been struggling will the fall out from the secret, Sharon returned tonight to bring them all together and ask for their forgiveness for her disappearance. Linda had filled her in with all that happened – including that Johnny now knew everything about what happened, and that Stacey had told Jack that Denise had hit Nish – and Sharon was horrified, but wasn’t able to complain too much, given the fact that she had disappeared for so long.

This evening, Sharon called all the women together and told them they could return the missing meat thermometer in the next 24 hours if they had it, with no questions asked. However, in a surprising turn of events, as the Carters sat down with the family for their lamb made by Elaine, it was revealed where the meat thermometer had been all along.

Linda was horrified as she noticed the meat thermometer she had used to kill Keanu was just sat in the lamb. She immediately panicked, as Johnny realised what it was, and started hyperventilating before saying it was dirty and pushing the lamb off the table.

Knowing she had stabbed Keanu with it, she panicked and Elaine was furious as Johnny tried to explain away Linda’s concern. He told Elaine and George she was drunk and that’s why she had hid it, but Elaine was angry for having the dinner ruined.

After all that had happened, Linda took the meat thermometer to show The Six and confirmed that Elaine had took it, thinking Linda had put it there in one of her drunken episodes, and cleaned it off and used it to serve the lamb. She promised that Johnny would get rid of it, but Sharon said that she would dispose of the thermometer for them, as it was the “least she could do”.

The worse seemed to be over for The Six because the missing murder weapon had been found and was safely with one of the women. However, there is trouble ahead as right at the end of the episode, the café floor was seen caving in – as Keanu Taylor’s body will finally be discovered, with things only set to get worse for the women.
