BBC EastEnders rumble what Junior Knight is really hiding as exit ‘sealed’

EastEnders fans are convinced they've worked out a terrifying twist with Junior Knight - as they expose what he's really hiding

EastEnders fans have rumbled a more sinister twist to George Knight’s son Junior.

Junior arrived in Albert Square just a couple of weeks back, but within just a few days, he had already slept with Bianca and his father’s ex-wife Cindy Beale. In shocking scenes, fans threatened to switch off as Cindy and Junior got intimate in Beale’s Eels.

However, fans are convinced Junior is hiding something else. Tonight, after his wife learned that he had slept with Bianca, she decided she had enough and planned to leave with her son, and without him.

Taking to Reddit, one fan wrote: “Today’s episode was so strange. Junior did not seem to care all too much that Monique and his son left. He’s instantly flirting with Cindy again by the end of the episode. Makes me think there is some sort of dark, sociopathic side to him that will manifest into more than him being a love rat.”

“I think having a wife and son creates the perfect ‘family man’ image that helps attract customers/investors to whatever company he’s pretending to legit run (I still think it’s dodgy). That’s why he kept them around. He probably does care for his son, but Monique? She’s a tool to him, that’s all,” a second added in response, whilst a third shared: “Did you notice he never said he loved Monique? Said she’s a good mum. Said he loves his family. Never said he loves HER.”

A fourth penned: “I found it really strange aswell. Feel like there is something underlying to come. Could junior be part of the 40th anniversary perhaps?” as they wondered what might be happening.

When Junior arrived in Walford, executive producer Chris Clenshaw teased there was a bigger secret to be revealed.

“I’m delighted to welcome Micah Balfour to the cast of EastEnders as he takes on the role of Junior Knight. Although Junior has been referenced since The Knights arrived in the Square, the audience knows very little about George’s son and the circumstances behind their estrangement. Junior arrives in Walford following an unlikely meet with his dad and is quickly thrust into the heart of the drama. However, it will soon become apparent to viewers that there is more to Junior than meets the eye,” he said.
