Whitney birth drama

EastEnders viewers will see baby drama next week, as Whitney goes into labour in the worst possible moment. The character seems to have a row with her friend Lauren Branning while she’s also facing upset from stepmother Bianca Jackson. Penny Branning seems keen to see Lauren and Whitney sort out their differences, but her efforts leave the pregnant character in trouble.

Whitney has yet to find out Lauren has slept with her partner Zack Hudson, and Bianca is on the warpath. Bianca is furious with Lauren looking like a saint as she helps out with Whitney and Zack’s stag and hen do celebration.

She gives Lauren an ultimatum: tell Whitney the truth or she will do it instead. Lauren starts planting seeds of doubt in Whitney’s mind about the romance with Zack, while she ends up bottling it and doesn’t tell her.

But it seems she riles Whitney up with her comments, resulting in a falling out. Lauren’s cousin Penny then locks them both in a taco van to get them talking, only for Whitney’s waters to break.

Whitney goes into labour and fears she will have to give birth in the van, with them locked in. Their screams for help are unheard and Penny has left, while Lauren’s phone dies so they can’t call for help.

It comes just as Lauren prepares to tell Whitney the truth about her and Zack, but she’s stopped in her tracks. Meanwhile with Whitney going AWOL, Zack attempts to look for her but he is soon distracted – so will he find them both in time?

EastEnders is lining up explosive scenes next week as George Knight’s son Junior finally debuts. It was recently revealed that the hit BBC One soap had cast actor Micah Balfour for the role of Junior and that Junior was heading to Walford. However, it was teased that Junior is hiding something while bosses are remaining tight-lipped over what brings him to Walford, and why he and George are estranged.

In upcoming scenes this week, George suffers a dizzy spell after his recent fights, and he almost collapses. He’s urged to go to the hospital by Phil Mitchell and ex Cindy Beale, and while there he undergoes tests. It’s then that the doctors give George a CAT scan and discover he’s got a brain condition linked to repeated blows to the head.

The fights and his injuries have left him in grave danger, and any more fighting could cost him his life. The doctor tells George that one bad knock could kill him, so he needs to stop what he’s doing. Next week, Cindy reveals that George is set to fight as the Knight women try convince him otherwise but he remains firm in his position. Gina tries to blackmail George out of the fight to no avail while Anna makes a last-minute attempt to stop the fight and leaves a message with Junior.

It appears Anna’s plan works as later in the week George is in shock to be face-to-face with Junior and he calls off the fight. Later, Junior soon finds himself settling into Albert Square as he strikes up an unexpected romance with one Walford resident. After feeling out of place at The Vic, Junior makes his excuses to leave and heads to Peggy’s.

Over at Peggy’s, Junior soon meets Bianca Jackson, where the two hit it off and they head back to Bianca’s, where they end up sleeping together. Later in the week, Junior has more things to worry about when George tells Junior all about his true identity and Eddie’s trial.

EastEnders may be lining up a reunion for two Walford legends, 21 years after they first tied the knot on the BBC soap. Spoilers hint that someone plays matchmaker in a bid to get the former couple back together again, around six years after they called it quits. After a tumultuous past for the pair, they could reunite which is something many fans have longed for.

Former couple Kat Slater and Alfie Moon are tipped for romance yet again, around six years after Kat learned of his shocking betrayal and ended their romance. Prior to that, the iconic couple were on and off again so many times, while they did land their own spin-off series away from Walford.

With some fans calling them couple goals and keen to have them back together, other viewers have not been onboard with them reconciling in recent years. But regardless of viewers’ thoughts, spoilers have hinted they might finally get back together amid Alfie’s cancer treatment.

The pair have remained close since their marriage split, with Kat being there for Alfie following his diagnosis amid her split from Phil Mitchell. While she has ruled out a reunion for them in the past, it’s clear there are still feelings there.

Next week, spoilers reveal that Kat arranges a celebratory meal for Alfie and their sons at Walford East following the end of his hormone therapy treatment, much to his surprise. Kat’s son Tommy notices Alfie’s behaviour towards Kat throughout the day and suspects he still loves her.

Tommy asks stepfather Alfie about this, and whether he wants to get back with newly single Kat. It’s not known what Alfie says to him, but clearly it encourages him to take action.

Later in the week, Tommy attempts to play matchmaker between Kat and Alfie, as he takes the twins home leaving them alone. But will Kat and Alfie realise what he is up to, and do they want the same as Tommy?
