EastEnders is lining up explosive scenes next week.

Spoilers for next week reveal that Reiss Colwell is exposed by Bianca Jackson as she catches him making an incriminating comment to his ex-wife Debbie. Elsewhere, The Six are rocked by a Keanu Taylor update as his funeral is set to take place.

Also in Albert Square, EastEnders will air a big exit next week leaving residents reeling. Here are the biggest moments happening in Walford next week…

EastEnders’ Reiss Colwell’s sick lie exposed

EastEnders’ Reiss Colwell is exposed by Bianca Jackson next week, as she catches him making an incriminating comment to his ex-wife Debbie.

Reiss visits Debbie at the care home she is being cared for in, but something he asks her is overheard. It leads to his sickening lie being exposed, months after an unforgivable act.

Viewers may recall that last year on the show, Reiss stole Debbie’s life savings without her permission in order to fund IVF treatment for him and new partner Sonia Fowler. He claimed to have had some money he’d forgotten about, amid his and Sonia’s hopes to start a family together.

But what he failed to tell anyone was that the money wasn’t his, and he’d taken it out of Debbie’s account. Next week, he decides to repeat this betrayal as money issues leave him desperate.

It’s thought Debbie is still unable to communicate or move, following a stroke a while ago. Reiss had told Sonia last year that Debbie had suffered a stroke while in the bath, and she now needed full-time care that he could not provide.

Debbie appears to be in a coma, while it isn’t known if she will ever wake up or when it could happen. Reiss still visits his wife regularly, while he’s moved on with Sonia. But as money issues increase next week, he even tries to con Kat Slater out of a tax bill she’s already paid. However, Sonia’s sister Bianca Jackson is suspicious of Reiss, and she ends up following him to the care home.

She overhears Reiss asking Debbie for her permission to borrow more money, having already taken thousands. Bianca is horrified by what she hears and Reiss realises he has been caught out – but will Bianca tell Sonia?

If Debbie is still in a coma, Reiss knows full well he won’t actually get the permission he needs amid his plan to take more of the money he can’t afford to pay back. Sonia has no idea how he really funded their treatment, so could the pair be headed for a split?

Keanu Taylor twist as he’s laid to rest

Fans will of course remember the shocking scenes that saw Keanu Taylor murdered at Christmas, as Linda Carter tried to save her best friend Sharon Watts from being attacked. Next week, Keanu will be laid to rest on the BBC soap as the residents bid a final goodbye to him.

However, with all the secrets The Six are keeping about what really happened that night, it doesn’t run smooth. Linda is struggling anyway with the thought of it being Father’s Day soon and her and the kids having lost Mick.

Whilst she tries to cope with her thoughts about her missing husband, things get worse when Bernie Taylor arrives to say Keanu’s funeral is taking place on Thursday and she wants to hold the wake in the Queen Vic. Elaine accepts, but Linda is rocked by the news and turns to alcohol to help her cope. Linda lies and says she’s going to tell Sharon the news – but Bernie beats her to it.

Sharon is shocked when she learns that Linda already knew, and later in the week, Linda struggles to cope as she prepares for the funeral. She offers to help Sharon tell Albie about what happened to Keanu, but she says she can do it herself. She decides she must attend Keanu’s funeral for the sake of her son – but with her own guilt, how will she cope?

EastEnders to air shock exit as characters left reeling by surprise departure

EastEnders will air a big exit next week – leaving residents reeling. Next week on the BBC soap, an exit looms for one resident. Kim is fuming at Yolande and Patrick for leaving Denzel alone, whilst Howie struggles to reconnect with his son. Denzel meets up with Ebony, but things get bad when Howie interrupts, and Denzel storms off, fuming things have been ruined between them.

Meanwhile, Yolande is more worried about a lack of communication from Levi. She heads to the Queen Vic pub to ask Chelsea whether she’s heard from Levi, where she asks them to be Jordan’s grandparents.

However, they’re left disappointed when Chelsea reveals that Levi has left Walford. Fans will remember that Yolande opened up to Levi about Pastor Clayton sexually assaulting her – but he has now left Albert Square.

In emotional and heartbreaking scenes, Yolande – played by Angela Wynter – told Patrick (Rudolph Walker) about what happened to her at the hands of Pastor Clayton. The scenes were heavily praised by fans.
