BBC EastEnders spoilers for next week: Sharon arrested in Keanu twist, sad exit and health scare

EastEnders’ residents are reeling after finding out that Keanu Taylor was murdered – and it’s not looking good for The Six next week.

The BBC soap aired the shock uncovering of Keanu’s body earlier this week, after Linda Carter stabbed him with a meat thermometer on Christmas Day. They hid the body under the café, hoping it would bury all their problems too but unfortunately for The Six, the café floor caved in and Keanu’s body was confirmed to have been there – and he had not run away like they had said.

However, next week on the BBC soap, the fall out from the discovery continues as Sharon finds herself arrested for Keanu’s death. The police tell her they’ve found new evidence – but what it is it, and are more troubles ahead for The Six?

Elsewhere, there is a sad exit for Bernie as she goes to tell her mum what has happened to Keanu, whilst things are not looking good for Gloria when she suffers a heart attack and is rushed to hospital.

Sharon’s in trouble

Things mount up for The Six next week as Sharon is arrested and the women desperately try to save themselves and their friends from being implicated in all that’s going on. When the detective offers new evidence, what will happen to Sharon?

Elsewhere, back in Walford, the women gather to speak before they are re-questioned by the police. Johnny – who is representing Sharon – later arrives home without her and Suki and Kathy reveal they have a new plan.

Linda is shocked when Johnny tells her what the others have planned, but he promises he will sort it and everything will be ok when he gets Sharon released from prison. Linda makes a big decision about her future and as the others discuss the plan they have, Phil interrupts them all. Linda tells the rest of the women to come to the pub, but what does she have to say?

Sad exit

Fresh from the news about Keanu’s body being found, Bernie is struggling as the rumour mill continues. She is supported by those closest to her, who reassure her everything will soon come to light about what happened to Keanu.

She decides she needs to tell her mum what happened to Keanu in person and prepares to fly out to Spain. Some fans have been hopeful this could spell a return for Karen Taylor, who left last year in devastating scenes.

Health scare

There is worrying news for the Knights next week when Gloria suffers a heart attack at Eddie’s trial. George has decided to testify at his father Eddie’s trial, and whilst George has washed his hands of his dad, he is disappointed when his mum can’t do the same.

With the help of Cindy and Elaine, he decides he needs to testify and heads to court. When he’s been cross examined by his dad’s defence team, Gloria shouts something in the court and Eddie is disgusted.

His face tells it all and he fumes at them from his place in the dock. She struggles to cope and runs out, before collapsing outside. Gloria is rushed to hospital and she tells him he needs to go and get a box from her flat which has things about his childhood in. He heads there to collect it and is consumed by the memories, but what does he find?
