BBC EastEnders spoilers: Sad death, surprise exit and new Ian Beale mystery

EastEnders spoilers have teased news of a shock death hits Albert Square whilst there is a surprise exit on the cards for one character - and a new mystery about Ian Beale begins

EastEnders spoilers have revealed that news of a sad death reaches Walford next week.

In some big scenes on the Square next week, one character makes a surprise exit after some news about a death. Billy is left reeling when he realises that Teddy and Stevie are keeping something from the family.

Puzzled, he gets Ritchie to do some investigations and later, as Billy makes a poignant speech about his father Stevie at his birthday party, Phil takes them aside to show the evidence they have found. As Stevie asks Teddy and Billy back to the house, he confesses to them that Billy’s mum is dead – leaving both Billy and Teddy reeling.

Elsewhere, Stevie makes a plan to leave Walford after all that’s happened between the family. Stevie decides to head off but asks for a moment to say a final goodbye to his grandchildren before he leaves. Will Billy allow it?

Meanwhile, Denzel is struggling as he prepares to head back to school. He decides to hit the gym instead of going to school but when he experiences pains, he’s terrified. When Denzel confronts Amy about telling Howie he didn’t go to school, they argue and she gives him a reality check over the way he has treated her. Will he see sense?

Reiss could set to be exposed next week when he receives an £18,000 bill for Debbie’s care fees. He needs cash and decides to rent the spare room – behind Sonia’s back – but she cottons on to him and the plan fails. Sharon offers Reiss a last minute admin job, which he excitedly accepts knowing he needs the money.
