BBC EastEnders spring spoilers ‘sealed’: Two icons return, multiple exits and Nadine ‘twist’

EastEnders viewers might see an eventful spring in Walford, with twists and turns ahead on the BBC soap.

What we do know is that at some point in the coming weeks and months, if not this spring, there’s some familiar faces heading back to Albert Square. With that, we can also expect some big goodbyes on the way, if not closer towards summer.

There’s bound to be big twists given it’s soap land after all, while fans have been speculating some major plots will unfold. The usual soap drama could see new romances, new feuds, new secrets exposed and the downfall of some soap villains.

Perhaps The Six will find themselves under threat once more, with an affair also teased. Here are the plots possibly ahead, and the confirmed spoilers we know so far…

Two icons return

We have some familiar faces returning to screens at some point, including the one and only Bianca Jackson. While Bianca’s return to the soap has already aired recently, pictures of actress Patsy Palmer showed her on the set which suggested she would be heading back to Walford at some point – so this will surely happen in the next few weeks.

Elsewhere, we also know that Mo Harris AKA Big Mo is making her big comeback full time. She will be returning to Walford with Freddie Slater, and it’s thought Jean Slater will come back with them.

Kim Fox and partner Howie Danes are yet to return from their months away on a cruise ship, so we can expect the duo back soon amid drama for his son Denzel, and Kim’s sister Denise. Who knows, perhaps there will be more returns too, amid fans speculating Emma Harding will head back to the Square, while villain Nish Panesar has also been missing for weeks.

Whitney Dean’s farewell

Shona McGarty is bowing out of the role of Whitney after more than 15 years in upcoming scenes, with her final episode now filmed. Shona was joined by cast earlier this month at her epic leaving party, with fans also saying a goodbye to the actress.

Whitney’s exit could air anytime now, most likely within the next five to six weeks. It will be the end of an era, with Whitney having been at the centre of some huge storylines over the years – but will she leave alone?

Other exits

Whitney isn’t the only character likely leaving the show, while details are yet to be confirmed. Might Zack Hudson leave with pregnant partner Whitney, and will Britney leave with her too?

Bobby Beale is leaving the show, but it’s not been confirmed when his final scenes will air. There’s also spoilers hinting the exit of Dean Wicks and his daughter Jade Green, while some fans are calling for villain Nish Panesar to leave permanently.

Affair twist and new romance

It’s been a while, well a few months, since the last affair on the show. Now new spoilers have hinted one will happen between exes George Knight and Cindy Beale – so could there be heartache ahead?

Stacey Slater and Jack Branning’s fling, now exposed, seems to have cooled down – but could things reignite? Perhaps affairs aside we can expect some new romances between characters, or maybe some old flames will reconnect including Priya Nandra-Hart and Ravi Gulati.

New arrivals

It was recently teased that we might finally meet George Knight’s estranged son Junior after the death of Gloria. George failed to reach his son and left him a message, but could he be on his way to Walford?

It’s been a while since a new family or some new faces rocked up, amid drama for existing characters on the show. Perhaps some newcomers are being planned, or maybe bosses are focusing on the current characters for the time being.

Nadine baby twist

Nadine recently made her comeback to the show months after her fling with Jay Brown. She left him reeling when she dropped the bombshell that she was pregnant, and he was the father of her unborn child.

So what will happen as this storyline continues, and might she come between Jay and his stepdaughter Lexi? Some fans think there is more to the story and that Nadine could be hiding something, so is there more drama ahead?

The Six under threat?

The women seem to have successfully framed Dean Wicks for the murder of Keanu Taylor, but their crime last Christmas has seen them almost exposed a number of times. Their latest drama saw Linda Carter almost confess to being the killer after Keanu’s body was found.

But is it all going to be smooth sailing from now on, or could Dean’s innocence be proven? At what point can we expect another hiccup, and will the women find themselves exposed or at risk once more? Could Nish Panesar figure out the truth behind his attack, or might Keanu’s family go snooping for answers, or maybe even Dean’s family?
