BBC EastEnders viewers ‘rumble’ Nadine’s real link to Walford as secret sister ‘exposed’

EastEnders viewers are questioning if Nadine Keller is secretly related to another Walford character after a twist on the BBC soap.

The character’s big secret, or at least part of it, was exposed on Tuesday as her lies were revealed to viewers. The character is lying about being pregnant, clearly targeting Jay Brown for an unknown reason, while we do know she is trying to get her hands on some money.

Now, some viewers are questioning if Nadine is related to a past character on the BBC soap, amid questions over who she might be working for. Nadine recently returned to the show after months away, and months on from a fling with Jay.

She dropped the big news that she was pregnant with his child, leaving him reeling and soon everyone found out. But just as Jay told Nadine he would be there for her and her baby, the truth was revealed to viewers that she was lying to him.

Nadine lifted up her top and removed a fake baby bump before walking off. Moments earlier, Nadine was seen taking a cryptic phone call that revealed she was in trouble with a mystery person.

Speaking on the phone, she was responding to someone who was demanding owed money. It seems by the conversation that Nadine is using Jay to get her hands on the cash she owes someone.

Nadine was heard telling the caller: “Yes okay, I told you, you’ll get your money soon, alright?” Amid fans speculating Nadine could be working with or being blackmailed by Emma Harding, the mother of Jay’s late wife Lola Pearce, fans have come up with another big theory.

Jay got close to Nadine weeks after Lola’s tragic death, after noting her striking resemblance to his late wife. Lola died last year after battling a brain tumour, and in the fallout a grief-stricken Jay hit the rails and confided in lookalike Nadine.

Now, fans are wondering if Nadine could in fact be the secret sister of tragic Lola, and maybe Emma is her mother. This would back the theory that Nadine and Emma are in cahoots and targeting Jay.

Taking to X, one fan posted: “Still think it’s not out of the realm of possibility that Nadine and Lola are related if not sisters.” Another agreed: “Emma & Nadine are related making Nadine Lola’s sister. I’ve predicted this for a while,” as a third added: “Nadine has to be Lola’s sister/Emma’s daughter. The absent father comment from her there made me think it even more so.”
