Bobby Brazier ‘dating’ EastEnders co-star as he ‘moves on’ from Strictly’s Ellie Leach
EastEnders star Bobby Brazier has reportedly been on a date with his soap co-star after his short-lived romance with fellow Strictly Come Dancing competitor Ellie Leach
Bobby Brazier appears to have moved on from his brief relationship with fellow Strictly Come Dancing contestant, Ellie Leach.
The actor, 20, who plays Freddie Slater on the BBC One soap, is said to have had a romance with Coronation Street’s Ellie, who won Strictly with her dance partner Vito Coppola. The pair met on the glitzy BBC One show last year, and reportedly got closer during the live tour earlier this year.
But now it looks like he has turned his attention to Jazzy Phoenix, who plays Nadine on EastEnders. Soap fans will recall how sex worker Nadine rocked up to Walford last year as Jay Brown struggled with the death of Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold).
Bobby reportedly had a dinner date with Jazzy in Mayfair, London, at Bagatelle, a fancy restaurant popular with Premier League footballers. This comes after Bobby was seen flirting with Jazzy online.
Jazzy is set to return to her role in Albert Square and is said to be “flattered by his interest”. The source added that Bobby has been “a perfect gentleman and treats her very well” and that there are “no hard feelings with Ellie” after their relationship ended.
Bobby and Ellie got close when they starred on Strictly last year. They even toured together after the series ended. Bobby said lovely things about his fellow soap actress. He said, “Ellie is a sweetheart, look at her . . . she’s beautiful, amazing, she’s good at what she does. She’s a good dancer.”
Many fans want Ellie to date her dance partner from Strictly. After she and Vito won the Glitterball Trophy, fans could see how close they were.
Ellie called him a “perfect diamond” during their journey on the show. viewers thought they “almost kissed” in one of their dances. After they won, Ellie said the Italian dancer had “changed my life”.
The ex-Corrie actress is currently doing a theatre tour of Cluedo. Meanwhile, Bobby is doing well in EastEnders; he hopes it might help him become a Hollywood star one day.
