Bobby Brazier reveals who he plans to marry – and it’s not Jazzy Phoenix as he shuts down romance rumours
The EastEnders star's future wife is 'not famous'
BOBBY Brazier has opened up about the girl he wants to marry – and she is NOT his EastEnders co-star Jazzy Phoenix.
The hunky soap star, 20, has played down romance rumours between himself and Jazzy while chatting candidly about his love life.
Chatting at the BAFTAs, Bobby even joked to The Sun that the first he’d heard about his relationship with Jazzy was from “someone else”.
Bobby insisted: “Someone else told me that I’d found a girlfriend. Jazzy is not my girlfriend, she’s not my girlfriend!”
Despite remaining tight-lipped about Jazzy – who plays sex worker Nadine Keller in the BBC One soap – Bobby was keen to speak about his ‘future wife’.
The Freddie Slater actor said elsewhere that the woman he wants to tie the knot with “isn’t famous”.
He explained: “I think I know the girl that I’m going to marry. She and her whole family are just something else.
“We’re gonna be happy and in peace, I’ll tell you that much.”
Bobby was first linked to Jazzy, 23, at the end of March after he whisked her to London’s Mayfair for a slap-up meal.
The pair were spotted in the upmarket restaurant Bagatelle, a popular haunt for top-flight footballers.
Their date came after Bobby was clocked flirting with Jazzy online by leaving love heart emojis underneath an Instagram snap.
Commenting on a photo of Jazzy and her EastEnders co-star Patsy Kensit, 56, Bobby wrote: “Stop it. Too much for me.”
A source exclusively told The Sun On Sunday at the time: “Bobby is enjoying getting to know Jazzy.
“He loves that they both share a passion for acting and he, of course, thinks she is very beautiful.
“She is flattered by his interest, especially as she is returning to EastEnders soon to reprise her role.
“The timing is ideal. He is a perfect gentleman and treats her very well.”
Bobby’s dates with Jazzy came after his romance with Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Leach fizzled out.
The pair grew close on Strictly last year before confirming their relationship while taking part in the BBC1 show’s tour.
During the tour, Bobby said: “Ellie is a sweetheart, look at her . . . she’s beautiful, amazing, she’s good at what she does.
“She’s a good dancer.”
Insiders insisted there was “no hard feelings” between Bobby and Ellie when they decided to call it a day.
However, since then Ellie has appeared to make a thinly-veiled swipe at Bobby on Instagram.
Rumours were rife last year that Ellie had fallen for her Strictly partner Vito Coppola after they grew close on the show.
And following a cosy reunion with Vito, she bluntly wrote: “Spending time with people who are good for your soul.”
