Cheating EastEnders couple ‘set to be exposed’ – as an unsuspecting partner walks in
Having forced stepson Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) out of Walford last week, EastEnders’ Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) is secretly feeling quite smug.
But next week, the truth about her affair with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) threatens to come out and bring her world crashing down.
The week begins with her daughter Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) still reeling from ex-boyfriend Bobby leaving the Square, following her betrayal with his best friend Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier).
With Cindy having tried to push Anna and Freddie closer together in the wake of their kiss, the pair have agreed to be friends and hang out on another bird watching trip.
But when Ian sees them arriving back at The Vic together, he shoots this disapproving glares and is soon vocal about his dismay at the situation to Cindy.
His words force Cindy to up and leave, and when he attempts to make amends, it is clear she is not in a forgiving mood and she arranges to meet Junior for another steamy encounter at Beale’s Eels.
However, an unsuspecting Ian decides to check in on the pie shop, unaware that Cindy and Junior are getting down to business inside.
As he interrupts their rendezvous, will he catch them in the act?
Actor Micah Balfour, who plays Junior, recently admitted he thinks his character has developed feelings for Cindy, who was previously married to his dad George Knight (Colin Salmon).
He said: ‘Initially, I think he slept with Cindy as a way to get back at his dad, whether he was aware of it or not,’ Micah says. ‘I think that was the initial attraction, but their relationship has progressed, and he has developed some genuine feelings towards Cindy.
‘I’m not sure how serious those feelings are, but he does have a genuine affection for her. But he’s one of those men who feels that what people don’t know can’t hurt them.’
