His mum Gloria also tragically died which saw George spiral, especially as Eddie held her funeral in private.

It will lead to a fight between the pair, which ultimately sees George hospitalised and learning of a brain condition he’s developed from years of fighting.

His ex-wife Cindy Beale comes out the worst for it, with their kids Gina and Anna refusing to speak to their mother for keeping George’s fighting a secret.

He later tells her he intends to fight his adoptive father again in secret but Cindy is furious.

Viewers will see the character, played by Michelle Collins, snap and threaten George if he doesn’t stop fighiting.

It remains to be seen what Cindy has over George and if he will heed her warning.

Since returning to Walford last year Cindy has had an uphill battle rebuilding her relationship with Gina and Anna.

Michelle Collins reprised her role after 25 years as part of Ian Beale’s return storyline when viewers learned she never died in prison.
