EasEastEnders legend finally returns – as The Six’s shocking lies are exposed at last
A show legend has made their highly anticipated return
THE Six’s shocking lies in EastEnders have been exposed in dramatic scenes.
Viewers have watched Bernie Taylor’s (Clair Norris) determination to get justice for her brother Keanu’s (Danny Walters) murder.
In scenes aired tonight, the café worker was floored as Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) revealed she was responsible for Keanu’s death.
Approaching Bernie while she was working late, the pub landlady admitted to stabbing Keanu with a meat thermometer to protect Sharon.
She said: “I can’t keep downing booze to block it out.
“I cannot drink myself to death, Bernie. Those kids, my little kids – I mean, they already don’t have their Dad.
“I should’ve done this months ago. I wanted to do this right back on Christmas Day night.”
She added: “Sharon didn’t kill Keanu. I did.”
With Sharon in prison for contempt of court – the remaining members of The Six caught wind of what Linda was doing and immediately headed to the café.
Bernie was disgusted after hearing about their actions over several months.
She first told Linda: “You killed my brother. You covered it up. You dumped him with other bits of rubbish in a hole – and you left him to rot.”
Addressing the others, she added: “And all of you, you just stood back. You watched me. And the only thing I had left was working in here.
“You let me walk over my brother’s dead body. I was blaming myself. What was I? A nothing?”
Later, a distraught and fragile Bernie called her mum Karen (Lorraine Stanley).
Bernie said she’d “had enough” of the complications and shocks surrounding Keanu’s death.
During the conversation, she contemplated taking a “week away” from the Square.
The episode also saw show legend Chrissie Watts (Tracy-Ann Oberman) make her highly anticipated return.
After a scene with Sharon in prison, a guard visited Chrissie in her cell, giving her cigarettes.
Chrissie received a life sentence for murdering her husband Den Watts (Leslie Grantham), Sharon’s adoptive father, in 2005.
With their history, what will happen when the two women encounter each other again?
EastEnders airs on BBC One and is available on iPlayer.
