Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) has made her highly anticipated return to EastEnders in scenes which saw Whitney Dean and Zack Hudson (Shona McGarty and James Farrar) visit her following her break up from long-term partner Terry.
However, it wasn’t a full family reunion, as there was a character missing from the scenes.
Shortly after their arrival, Whitney asked how younger brother Morgan Butcher was, and Bianca soon explained his absence.
She revealed that he had a new girlfriend who he was absolutely besotted by, and that he was out with her, adding that she hardly saw him anymore.
Morgan is Bianca’s youngest son, and he was last seen on screen at Whitney’s wedding to Lee Carter back in 2016, when he paid a visit to Walford with sister Tiffany.
Bianca’s return marks the first time she has appeared on the show since 2019, when she returned for Whitney’s wedding to Callum Highway (Tony Clay).
Speaking about Bianca’s return when it was first announced, executive producer Chris Clenshaw said: ‘I’m thrilled to welcome the fabulous Patsy back to the iconic role of Bianca Jackson.
‘Although the character was last seen on-screen in 2019, Bianca still remains a fan favourite.
‘We know our audiences will be thrilled at her return as she is thrust into the heart of the drama alongside step-daughter Whitney.’
Patsy herself was equally thrilled, adding: ‘I’m so excited to be reprising the role of Bianca. EastEnders holds such a special place in my heart so it’s always a pleasure to be back.’
