EastEnders affair ‘sealed’ for new Mitchell brother – and Billy will be heartbroken
SPOILERS: EastEnders’ Teddy Mitchell made his dramatic debut this week on the soap - but already fans are fearing he could be set up strike up a romance with a taken woman
EastEnders fans reckon new Mitchell brother Teddy is set for a saucy affair – and it’s bad news for Billy.
The soap newbie, played by Roland Manookian, made his soap debut this week. Teddy rocked up to Walford with his sons Harry (Elijah Holloway) and Barney (Lewis Bridgeman) looking for his father Stevie (Alan Ford).
As fans will recall, Stevie is the estranged father of Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) who turned up to the square earlier this year looking to make amends. The old man found himself in hospital recently, after getting knocked down by his grandson Will (Freddie Phillips).
During Thursday’s episode (June 27), which has already dropped on BBC iPlayer, Stevie was then visited by his son Teddy, and grandchildren Harry and Barney. After spotting Will talking to Stevie, Teddy was determined to get to the bottom of things.
Inside, he started snooping around – only to be interrupted by a startled Honey (Emma Barton) dressed in her dressing gown from a recent shower. She demanded Teddy to leave and he quickly exited.
Things took a dramatic turn though, when Billy found out Will was talking to a ‘random man’ at the Queen Vic. Billy and the rest of the Mitchell clan headed over there to find Will talking to Teddy.
And in a shock twist, Stevie revealed to everyone that Teddy and Billy are actually brothers. During Friday’s episode (June 28) which was uploaded to BBC iPlayer on Thursday 27, the new brothers clashed at first.
The entire family headed over to Phil’s house to talk it out – with Stevie explaining that he had a fling with Teddy’s mum back in the day. Billy eventually offered Teddy an olive branch and the pair made amends – much to the delight of Stevie.
However, fans of the soap can’t help but fear that Teddy will be cracking on with a happily taken woman: Honey.
Over on an EastEnders forum, one person proclaimed: “Honey is going to sleep with Teddy?!” Someone else replied: “Does anyone else think…”
A third chimed in and wrote: “probably. How long has it been since either she or Billy had an affair? Assume they’re probably overdue one.” Another fan warned: “And Honey better not cheat on Billy with his own brother, I’ve only just forgiven her for me getting with Jay ffs.”
