EastEnders’ Amy Mitchell to seek advice over Denise bipolar fears

She turns to Stacey Slater for help.

EastEnders spoilers follow.

Amy Mitchell will seek advice over Denise Fox’s mental health in EastEnders.

An upcoming episode will see Denise continuing to unravel as she worries she’ll be caught out for her involvement in the death of Keanu Taylor on Christmas Day.

Denise is in a precarious position because her iconic ‘D’ necklace was accidentally buried with Keanu — so she’d surely be linked to his death if his corpse is ever unearthed.

While she doesn’t know about Keanu’s death, Amy has been committed to supporting Denise since her stepmother stood by her last year when the teen went through her own mental health struggles.

In scenes airing next week on BBC One, Amy becomes increasingly worried that Jack and Denise will get divorced.

Amy tries to ensure the two stick together by encouraging Jack to give Denise a bracelet as a Valentine’s Day gift — not knowing Jack plans to spend the holiday with Stacey Slater as they continue their affair.

Denise continues to alarm Amy and Ricky, as she mistakes Jack’s gift with her missing ‘D’ necklace while she’s hallucinating.

Ricky thinks it’s best to tell Jack the truth about Denise’s mental health, though he’s ultimately convinced by his sister to keep quiet.

On Valentine’s Day, Jack does surprise Denise with a lovely breakfast but refuses to meet up with her later because he already has secret plans with Stacey.

This leaves Amy to keep an eye on Denise, and she’s extremely concerned to see her stepmother acting alarmingly at work.

Ricky will once again push to tell Jack what’s going on, but Amy suggests they need to get some advice instead.

Amy ends up turning to Stacey for guidance, unaware of the role Stacey has played in the breakdown of Jack and Denise’s marriage.

The teen wants some information on bipolar disorder because she knows about Stacey’s family history with the condition. Amy tries to keep Denise’s unravelling secret by pretending she simply needs the information for a school project.

Will Stacey and Jack realise that Denise needs help?
