This article contains spoilers from Tuesday’s (February 20) EastEnders episode which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer.

The Six were left horrified in recent scenes when they discovered that Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) had told son Johnny (Charlie Suff) all about Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) Christmas Day murder.

However, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) was soon to follow in her footsteps by revealing their secret to someone totally unexpected.

After burying Keanu’s body beneath the café, The Six made a pact to take their secret to the grave, something that has left Denise in a vulnerable position.

Though the women had all agreed to band together and protect each other, they refused to dig up Keanu’s body again when Denise revealed that her necklace had been buried alongside him – putting her at the scene of the crime.

Ever since, Denise has been overcome by her guilt and the fear of getting caught, to the point that she has now started showing signs of psychosis.

She has been haunted by visions of Keanu that she believes are real, and in recent scenes he even began to speak to her, pointing her to a passage in the bible that referred to wolves wearing sheep’s clothing.

Because of this, Denise grew more and more suspicious of the rest of The Six, and particularly of Johnny, who later came over to question her about the missing murder weapon.

Terrified, Denise fled the house and was spotted hiding in the Square by a concerned Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).

When Denise expressed her fears to Stacey that Johnny had hidden the weapon to set her up, Stacey lied and told her that Linda had found it in a bid to put her mind at rest.

However, Denise was clearly still agitated when Pastor Clayton (Howard Saddler) and Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) arrived and, unable to understand what she was talking about, Pastor Clayton urged her to reach out to someone who could help.

Not knowing where else to turn, Denise visited Lucas Johnson (Don Gilet) in prison once again, where she admitted that she didn’t know who she could trust anymore.

Lucas was quick to assert that the only way she would feel better would be if she confessed, at which point she finally gave in, admitting that she just wanted Keanu to be at peace.

Lucas was left stunned as she admitted that she had buried him, but what will he do with this information?
