Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) is alive in EastEnders, and has dropped a huge bombshell on the Panesars from his hospital bed.
At the start of this week, Suki (Balvinder Sopal) and Eve (Heather Peace) organised a taxi out of Walford for Vinny (Shiv Jalota). They managed to work out Nish was plotting to have Vinny arrested and wanted to get him away from the evil man before any further damage was done.
Unfortunately, just as Vinny got into the taxi, Nish was revealed as the driver. He later took his son to Walford East, held him hostage and attacked him.
After Vinny was saved by Suki and Ravi (Aaron Thiara), Nish returned to the Panesar household and once again revealed what a dark and horrific individual he is.
Just as another showdown between Suki and Nish took place though, Nish experienced a sudden pain to his chest. The businessman collapsed in pain and begged Suki for help. At first, she debated calling 999 for him but then realised if she left Nish for long enough, his hold over the family would be over.
In tonight’s episode of the BBC One soap, Suki was still hellbent on letting Nish suffer, but things took a turn when Eve arrived with Avani (Aaliyah James). The teen heard Nish’s shallow breathing and quickly grabbed her phone to call an ambulance, curious as to why Suki hadn’t done it sooner.
With Suki’s phone in her bag, both Avani and Eve realised Suki had no intention of getting Nish some help.
In the hospital, once the rest of the Panesar clan arrived, Ravi realised Nish’s brief had just left his ward room.
Inside, Nish announced that he had some news regarding his will.
Suki picked it up and read out the part that confirmed who would have access to Nish’s assets once he’s gone.
And it was Avani and Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury).
Suki was completely taken aback. Her plan to gain access to what Nish owns has failed because he was one step ahead the entire time.
