EastEnders ‘confirms’ major exit as legend reels over unexpected death in 40 pictures

EastEnders serves up the shocks next week with bombshell after bombshell, as confirmed in my new spoiler pictures, as one family is torn apart forever.

I am, of course, referring to the Mitchells, who – despite having been replenished by the arrival of long-lost family members – are more at odds than ever after a devastating secret is revealed.

Billy (Perry Fenwick) is excited to throw a party for Stevie (Alan Ford), telling Will that his dad shares the same birthday as his long-lost mum Val. Teddy (Roland Manookian), meanwhile, pleads with Stevie to stop lying, with Phil (Steve McFadden) overhearing such a thing.

The conversation piques Phil’s interest and, in typical Phil fashion, he decides that some digging is necessary, enlisting the assistance of trusted solicitor Richie Scott (Sian Webber).

A discovery is made, one which seemingly proves that Phil was right to have reservations about Stevie, as he confronts the patriarch and orders him to come clean.

Left with little choice, Stevie musters up the courage to tell Billy that his mum is dead. Billy and Teddy are both left reeling by the news – but is this just the tip of the iceberg? Is there perhaps more to come?

And will Billy ever be able to forgive his dad for keeping such information to himself?

Elsewhere in the Square, Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) gets a call saying Debbie’s care fees are three months overdue and, with his stress levels sky high, he decides to rent the spare room.

With some secrets revealed and bombshells aplenty, EastEnders is a must-watch next week! (Picture: BBC / Kieron McCarron / Jack Barnes)

Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy), however, puts a stop to such an idea, with Reiss later taking shocking action to line his own pockets!

Yolande Trueman (Angela Winter), meanwhile, receives news that the CPS have charged Pastor Clayton with two counts of sexual assault.

It’s certainly going to be an emotional week in Walford!

EastEnders airs these scenes between Monday, July 8 and Thursday July 11 at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
