EastEnders lines up an intense week for the residents of the Square in addition to the viewers at home, as confirmed in my new spoiler pictures, with one favourite rushed to hospital.
As her blackmail ordeal continues, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) struggles to cope and thus takes to the bottle once again, leaving concerned son Johnny (Charlie Suff) at a loss over how to help her.
Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) is on hand to offer some advice, telling Johnny that he’s not on his own when it comes to Linda, offering to look after his mum for a while, but things soon spiral out of control, with Linda lashing out at Johnny, who storms off.
When he returns home, he finds Linda in a seriously life-threatening situation. The paramedics are summoned, with Linda subsequently rushed to hospital, but will she pull through?
That remains to be seen.
Callum Highway (Tony Clay) is on hand to offer some comfort and support to Johnny, who misinterprets the signals, moving in for a kiss.
How will Callum react?
Elsewhere in the Square, Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) grows impatient of Reiss Colwell’s (Jonny Freeman) excuses over his money and thus confronts him in a heated showdown at the Boxing Den.
Reiss is quite clearly terrified, as can be seen in my pictures above, so is it only a matter of time before all of his secrets come spilling out?
Other developments during the week in question see Peter Beale (Thomas Law) upset with mum Cindy (Michelle Collins), who secretly carries on her affair with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) while Anna (Molly Rainford) finds herself torn between two men.
