Everyone close to Denise is dead worried about her on EastEnders. Jack might be out of the picture, but step-daughter Amy is adamant on getting her mum back to senses. She went to Stacey Slater on the pretext of a school project and asked questions about bipolar.
Later, Stacey visited Denise to discuss Amy’s concerns and quickly sensed something was wrong. Finally, Denise spoke up about her visions. Recalling her own experience, Stacey rumbled that Denise might be battling psychosis and urged her to see a doctor. EastEnders actress Diane reflected on this pivotal scene and her character’s onscreen equation with Stacey.
Diane explained that Stacey was guilty about her actions and wanted to help despite their past issues. Moreover, she found it funny that, initially, Denise was trying to pull Stacey together. She continued, “But Stacey has risen out of the ashes to be the one to step up for Denise now.”
Furthermore, the EastEnders star seems thrilled about sharing more scenes with Lacey Turner (Stacey Slater) for the ongoing storyline. Parish poured her heart out while lauding Lacey. She said, “I have always just been blown away by the intuitive and wonderful actress she is.” Diane added, “She was like that from a very young age.”

Well, despite Diane and Lacey getting along great, Denise doesn’t trust Stacey on EastEnders. She’s wary of her attempts to repair the damage of their relationship. Parish elaborated, “There is a fragment of connection for a moment between Stacey and Denise, but she doesn’t trust her.” She added, “Either in her well mind or her unwell mind.”
