EastEnders Eddie’s death ‘sealed’ — but it’s not son George who kills him
EastEnders fans have been left fuming over Eddie Knight recently but viewers reckon his death is just around the corner with an unlikely character is behind it
EastEnders fans reckon Eddie Knight will get what’s coming to him – but it won’t be George Knight who will get rid of him.
The racist and nasty character, played by Christopher Fairbank, turned up to Walford earlier this year along with wide Gloria. The two are the adoptive parents of George Knight (Colin Salmon).
However, it was later revealed that the Knights bought George as a youngster through a process known as baby farming back in the day – which is when children were illegally sold to couples by their biological parents.
George’s world was then turned upside down even more when he found out Eddie had been accused of murder and needed George for a character reference. And in a shocking turn of events, it was then revealed that Eddie had killed George’s birth father.
Despite showing up to court, George backfired on his plan to lie and ripped Eddie to shreds at the stand. But George was left even more stumped when he noticed a woman rushing out, who he believed to be his birth mother.
During Wednesday’s episode (March 13) the woman turned up at the Queen Vic where revealed that she wasn’t his mum, but was a family friend. She then told George that his birth mum died four months ago.
Dropping another bombshell, she also informed him he had two younger brothers. Heartbroken at the revelation, George was fuming at the end of the episode and headed off to an unknown location.
Now, fans are certain Eddie is going to get what’s coming to him. But in a shock twist, they don’t think it’ll be George who kills, as they reckon it could be his wife Gloria.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “Can’t help but think Gloria will kill Eddie… .” Someone else added: “I feel bad for Gloria, I feel like she’s forced to do all these things.
“She wanted Eddie to do whatever he could so they could keep George, but she didn’t want Henry dead. I’ve a feeling Gloria might kill Eddie to end the storyline .” A third replied: “This would be a twist!”
