EASTENDERS star Colin Salmon has sparked rumours of a secret feud with a member of his onscreen family.

The actor, who plays George Knight on the BBC soap, arrived on the Square alongside partner Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) and his two daughters Anna (Molly Rainford) and Gina (Francesca Henry) in 2023.

The actor has worked closely with the trio ever since they arrived after they were thrust into some of the soap’s biggest plots over the last twelve months.

And while the cast may claim to be a close-knit bunch, it’s been noted that Colin and on-screen daughter Francesca have snubbed each other on social media.

The actor is currently following both Harriet and Molly as well as few of his other cast mates – but not Francesca.

Francesca is following a number of her cast mates – but not Colin.

The snub comes after Colin took a swipe at actors not knowing their lines during an interview at the NTA’s.

Talking about new cast member Dayo Koleosho, who is autistic in real life, Colin praised the actor for always ‘knowing all his lines’ ahead of filming unlike others.

Speaking about his onscreen brother, the actor said: “But because of the autism we have to create a safe environment, we have to keep it calm, it’s such a positive thing having him (Dayi Koleosho) on set and he always knows his lines, which is more than I can say for some people.”

Colin also revealed his own personal connection to the storyline, telling us: “My son’s got autism, so it means a lot to me that we’re representing that in the show.

“It meant a lot to my son as well, he’s quite excited about that.”
