EastEnders: floored as they finally see hidden area of Walford in show first

EastEnders fans took to social media on Thursday to express their shock at witnessing an unseen area of Albert Square in an episode that will air on Friday (March 1)

EastEnders fans were left gobsmacked after a shocking scene in Thursday’s episode on BBC iPlayer.

Due to the televised FA Cup Football earlier this week, the show’s usual schedule was revised this week, meaning it didn’t air on Tuesday or Wednesday night. However, the episodes were available on iPlayer and were broadcast last night (Thursday) and will air again in a double bill on Friday.

In Wednesday’s episode, now available on BBC iPlayer and airing on Friday, Stacey was taken to the police station for questioning. She begged Jack Branning, who she’s having an affair with, to help clear her name.

Stacey was eventually released without charge, but she may have caused big problems for The Six after making two mistakes.

In a tense moment in his car, Jack was puzzled and asked Stacey, “What did you mean back there when you said you were glad the girls didn’t have to come in and remember their stories? It’s an odd thing to say, ain’t it?” Stacey quickly said she meant they didn’t have to make statements.

The drama heated up when Jack wanted to know what was really going on. He found out that Stacey had called for help last week, which led to Denise being taken away by the mental health team. Jack thought Stacey did this because she and Denise had been seeing the same man, and it made Denise very upset.

Stacey lost her cool and shouted, “Denise attacked Nish! ” but then she tried to change her story, saying, “Well, she was going to and then someone stopped her…”

Stacey tried to fix her big mistake by saying Keanu got there before Denise could do anything. Jack wasn’t fooled by Stacey’s fibs though. She pleaded with him, “What are you going to do? Are you going to turn us in? ” as the show ended.

The next episode, which is now available and airs on TV on Friday, showed Stacey worried in her garden, thinking about the secret she let slip and about Nish. But while it was a key scene, fans were distracted with something else.

Fans were left in shock after seeing the garden scenes on EastEnders, with many insisting it was a first-time event for the show as gardens are hardly shown. On Twitter, one viewer stated: “Main takeaway from this weeks eastenders- Stacey has a back garden. #EastEnders”, another said: “They have NEVER showed a garden in Eastenders looooool #EastEnders”, The Mirror reported.

A third fan declared: “Omg! ! ! After 39 years we finally see one of the houses gardens not only that it has grass #Eastenders” and another observer puzzledly asked: “Sorry where the f**k has that garden come from #EastEnders.”
