EastEnders George Knight’s mystery son arrival ‘sealed’ in huge DNA bombshell
EastEnders fans found out last year there was another member of the Knight family we are yet to meet: George Knight’s mystery son - now an actor on the soap has teased his arrival
EastEnders could be set to welcome George Knight’s mystery son in a huge twist.
George, played by Colin Salmon, rocked up the famous square last year, with the rest of his Knight clan. Since then, he’s become a firm favourite and has been involved in some dramatic storylines so far.
More recently, he was left heartbroken after finding out the truth about his adoption and heritage. It was revealed that parents Gloria and Eddie bought George as a youngster through a process known as baby farming back in the day – which is when children were illegally sold to couples by their biological parents.
George’s world was then turned upside down even more when he found out Eddie had been accused of murder. Eddie blackmailed George for a character reference. And in a shocking turn of events, it was then revealed that Eddie had killed George’s birth father.
But in June last year, viewers found out there was another member of the Knight family we had not yet met. It was revealed that George had a son whom he did not see.
Fans only found this out in a scene on the show last year. While chatting with Phil Mitchell, George confirmed he had a son who “goes off the rails.”
He added: “I don’t see much of him – his choice, not mine.” The conversation ended there. And there were no details about the son or who he was, or why he and his George are estranged.
What’s more, George’s mysterious son has not been mentioned by George since then. It’s thought he is the son of a previous partner of George’s.
But now, Anna Knight actor Molly Rainford has teased that her on-screen brother might make an appearance on the soap. Speaking to The Mirror, she said: “Yes absolutely, I’d love that.
“I mean what EastEnders family doesn’t have secret siblings? I feel like there’s siblings from both sides and people we haven’t met yet too, so I’d be really excited if he or any of them came into the show.”
