George Knight learned the identity of his biological father during the latest episode of EastEnders.
The Queen Vic landlord, played by Colin Salmon, received a visit from his adoptive parents Eddie (Christopher Fairbank) and Gloria Knight (Elizabeth Counsell) during Wednesday’s (February 13) instalment of the BBC One soap.
George insisted on talking alone with his dad and tells him that he recognises the man whom he’s accused of murdering. During a painful confrontation, George finally unlocks the truth about his childhood, Eddie’s racism and what really happened the night Henry Kofi Asare was killed., dumped in a suitcase and chucked in the canal in a racist attack.
The two men are unaware that George’s daughters Gina (Francesca Henry) and Anna (Molly Rainford) are listening at the door. Meanwhile, Gloria tried to explain herself to George’s partner Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) upstairs in the Vic and begged her to help convince George to testify on Eddie’s behalf.
