With her wrongful arrest for drug smuggling upon her return to Walford, EastEnders’ Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) might have hoped there were better times ahead.
However, Lauren is set to receive another nasty surprise next week, just as she is preparing for a job interview.
As her nerves start setting in, Lauren’s day gets off to a bad start when bailiffs turn up at the door, demanding payment for an old credit card debt, leaving her horrified.
With ex-boyfriend Peter Beale (Thomas Law) currently keen to get back in Lauren’s good books, will he come to her rescue once again?
But Lauren’s troubles don’t end there, as she faces more anguish after a heated exchange with Junior Knight (Micha Balfour).
She is not impressed after Junior makes a remark about Louie’s academia, after she finds them playing football in the Square with Alfie and Tommy Moon (Shane Richie and Sonny Kendall).
An argument in the Square ensues, which Lauren’s cousin Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) later does her best to try and smooth over.
But it isn’t long before Lauren is back on the warpath, and she finds herself at odds with Louie’s great-grandmother Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) later in the week, after she receives some shock news…
