EastEnders star Danny Dyer has been spotted filming scenes for his new movie.

The actor, who is best known for playing Mick Carter in the BBC One soap, was seen on-location in Romford Shopping Mall as part of a shoot for upcoming film Marching Powder.

The film in question reunites Danny with Football Factory director Nick Love, with the former soap star revealing previously that the project will feature ‘more crime, drugs and serious ultra-violence’ in comparison to its predecessor.

‘I’m going back to work with The Football Factory director Nick Love and I cannot f*****g wait,’ exclaimed the Human Traffic star in an Instagram post, shared to his socials in December.

‘We’re gonna be bang on the marching powder, that’s the name of the film by the way.’

Romford Shopping Hall sales and marketing manager Michelle Petty branded Danny a ‘really kind guy’, adding that he took time out to speak to shopkeepers.

Michelle told Echo News: ‘They turned one of our shops into a sports bar. There were 70 extras acting out fights.’

Pictures obtained by the publication shows Danny filming the scenes and posing with fans.

Danny, 46, left EastEnders in 2022 after nine years as Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter.

Mick vanished without a trace at sea when trying to rescue soulmate Linda from the treacherous waves after a pregnant Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) drove the pair of them into the water.

Mick, under Linda’s instruction, saved scheming Janine and their unborn child first before returning to the ocean to retrieve his one true love, unaware of the fact that she had safely made it to shore.

The patriarch disappeared in the sea as he desperately searched for Linda.

While the characters’ wallet was subsequently recovered, his body was not, which leaves the door open for Danny to the BBC One soap return one day.

We can hope!
