EastEnders Nadine’s shock DNA link to Walford icon ‘exposed’ — and it’s bad news for Jay
EastEnders newbie Nadine Keller has got plenty of fans suspicious since her return last week - not viewers of the BBC soap are certain she's related to an Albert Square icon
EastEnders fans are certain that Nadine Keller is related to a Walford legend.
The sex worker, played by Jazzy Phoenix, rocked up to Walford back in September- and soon got the attention of Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick). Fans will recall he faced heartache in the past 12 months following the death of Lola Pearce.
Lola (Danielle Harold) was tragically killed off from the soap in May 2023 after battling a brain tumour. After meeting Nadine, he found comfort in the soap newcomer.
At first, he merely paid her to sleep next to him after he was unable to switch off at night. Things then took a dark turn for Jay – who has been on the soap since 2006.
After getting kicked out, Jay got involved in a horror car crash while under the influence of drugs. Luckily, Jay pulled through – but Nadine appeared to disappear from Walford.
And last week, she made her return – and had a big surprise for Jay. Over a drink, Nadine eventually confessed that she was pregnant- and he was the dad.
Now, viewers of the BBC soap are certain that Nadine is actually related to someone on the soap. In what would be a huge twist, fans reckon she could be the sister of Lola.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “going to say this now about Nadine. Plot Twist: she’s actually Lola’s sister.” Someone else added: “Nadine is gonna turn out to be Lola’s sister.”
While on an EastEnders Facebook fan page, one viewer mused: “Who thinks that Nadine might be Lola’s sister .. sent by Emma to get Lexi on side.” A second agreed and penned: ”Lola’s half sister.” A third wrote: “Yeh I thought that.”
