EastEnders’ Phil Mitchell has had a slew of lovers over the years - but now fans have been left up in arms as they are certain he’s going to get back with a former flame
EastEnders fans are not too happy as they have rumbled Phil Mitchell’s next fling on the soap.
The Walford icon, played by Steve McFadden, has had his fair share of flings over the years. From Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) to even Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Phil has bedded plenty of women and is a father to four.
And after his recent behaviour, fans think he’s going to end up having a new fling following his split from Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace). Phil and Kat ended things earlier this year after his one-night-stand with Emma Harding came to light.
But viewers are certain Phil’s new romance will be with a past lover. This week, Phil offered Denise a place to stay after she ended things with hubby Jack Branning and moved in with Bernie Taylor.
He offered her a place for her and Raymond to stay – so he can “be a dad to Raymond.” Fans will recall how Denise and Phil once had a one-night stand in 2016, and are parents to the youngster Raymond.
Phil added: “It would be good for Raymond as well wouldn’t it? To get to know me better.” Denise then took up Phil on his offer, demanding that she would pay him rent and cook and buy her own food for her and Raymond.
Now, viewers reckon the pair are going to be back at it and could strike up another romance. On X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “Whatever happens, I hope there won’t be a romance between Phil & Denise.”
Someone else is not to keen of Phil and Denise being an item, and added on the social media site: “Still makes me skin crawl knowing denise and phil have a child together.” A third penned: “You just know they are going to sleep together or something.”
Another wrote: “Ahh… So Phil is going to invite Denise to move into his house with Raymond. This could be interesting.”
