EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders has released first-look images showcasing the drama to come at Dean Wicks’s murder trial next month.

The BBC soap has scheduled in an unmissable week from Monday, September 2, as Dean’s fate is finally revealed following The Six’s desperate plan.

Dean was arrested and charged over the death of Keanu Taylor earlier this year after The Six realised they could pin the crime on him. They saw it as a fitting punishment after Dean’s history of escaping justice for his evil crimes.

The Walford women have been covering their tracks ever since Linda Carter killed Keanu to protect Sharon Watts on Christmas Day.

EastEnders‘ new spoiler images see Sharon take centre stage as she gives her evidence in court.

Sharon seems nervous as she takes the stand and it’s sure to be one of her toughest challenges, as Dean’s defence brief won’t make it easy for her.

With a complicated cover story to remember, can Sharon stay calm as she gives her evidence or will she get tripped up?

Meanwhile, another spoiler image from the big week shows Denise Fox, Stacey Slater, Kathy Beale, Suki Panesar and Phil Mitchell all watching on anxiously from the public gallery.

All eyes are on Sharon as she gives her evidence and everyone hopes that she’ll manage to get through it without any problems… but this is EastEnders, so that seems unlikely.

Matt Di Angelo – who plays Dean – recently confirmed that he’ll be leaving EastEnders again at the end of the trial storyline, regardless of the outcome.

The actor teased a surprising “twist” at the end of the episodes, but didn’t give any further details away to avoid spoiling the storyline.

Further spoilers and pictures from the trial episodes will be released here on Digital Spy on Tuesday morning (August 27).
